By road

There are many roads to Essubras..... the one you choose is up to you, and how you like to travel best.

If you are using a Route Planner (software) make sure you fill in the correct postal address for Essubras: 

France, Essubras , 16420 Saint Christophe , Charente (16)

If your GPS does not know the hamlet Essubras, please use the correct postal code 1640 of Saint christophe (there are more than 57 Saint christoph's in France. So be sure you take the right one)

You can also print following route description and take it with you in the car.

Coming from Paris, follow the A3 and A86 (direction Bordeaux). Then take the A20 towards Limoges/Toulouse. This is the Autoroute l’Occitaine.

	Take exit 23 and follow the N145 towards Bellac.   After 30 kilometres you arrive at Bellac, and from here follow the signs for St. Junien. Turning left after Bellac onto the D675 will take you to St. Junien (take care, because this left turn comes directly after a sharp bend to the right).
After 17 kilometres you reach  reach a crossroads with the D9. Here you turn right towards Confolens. After a few kilometres this road changes into the D82.
8 kilometres further, you enter the village of Saint-Christophe.From here, follow the D330 signpost for Nouic.	.    After 2 kilometres, you arrive in Essubras… then follow the signs forCamping & Gîtes "en Campagne"

By plain

Your preference airport will be Bellegarde at Limoges aeroport. You fly really cheap from different airports in Great-Britain to Limoges.!! For example London-Stansted, Liverpool, Nottingham-East Midlands, Southampton, Liverpool and Newcastle.

At Limoge airport you may rent a car if you want.

By train

If you prefer to travel by train, from Paris take the TGV to Angoulême (direction Bordeaux). Angoulême is about 63 kilometres from Essubras and from there you can take a bus to Confolens and then a taxi to the Camp Site in Essubras.

Or you can take the train from Paris gate Austerlitz - Limoges. (this train goes 10 times a day back and forth).
