If you are looking for a long weekend or a short break in the early or late seasons, our Gîtes (similar to a self-catering apartment) are the ideal place to start a holiday of discovery and enjoyment in the beautiful Charente-Limousine.

By car, by motor, by bike or on foot: may ways to discover the peaceful landscape.

You will feel the tranquility of the countryside. Winters are very short here, but it may snow over here also. But during the day with no wind and the sun coming through it feels warm!

Gîte La Marchadaine is located in a separate  400 year old  house. It has been carefully restored with all modern facilities, but has lost nothing of its charm and character.

You find on the ground floor (total floor area 20 m²)a large bedroom with 2 single-beds, side by side and bunk beds in an alcove. Under  the window you will find  a very old granite stone kitchen sink. Also on the ground floor: a large bathroom with a luxurious (massage!) shower, toilet and wash basin. The second floor (surface 31 m²) has a laminate flooring, a kitchen which includes a gas cooker with 4 rings, an extractor hood, a fridge and a freezer), Cupboards fully equipped. Everything for a comfortable stay. A dining area with 6 chairs and a living area with 2 sofas and an armchair. Wood burning stove for colder evenings. In the attic (surface under the low beams 31 m²) you find the second bedroom with 2 single-beds.

The Gîte also has  a private garden with garden furniture.

All the indoor gîtes/appartements are located inside the main building on the second floor. From here you will also have access to the bar and ‘petit restaurant’.

The Gîtes are in principle open all year round, and feature a well furnished sitting room, fully equipped cupboards,  television, DVD, satellite, etc.. Everything for a comfortable and hassle free stay!

Needless to say, people choosing accommodation in our Gîtes have full access to all the facilities offered by the Camp Site

This big  6 person Gîte (apartment), on the second floor with tiled floor has a large sitting room with 2 leather sofas and a 2 leather armchairs. A kitchen ( with an electric cooker with 4 rings, an extractor hood, a fridge). Three separate bedrooms with two single beds each ,plus a large private shower with wash basin and a separate toilet.

There are  many  sheltered areas outside, small gardens where you can sit private and relax . Or, if you choose, where you can enjoy the company of others.

A very charming 2 persons Gîte( apartment) on the second floor, created in the main part of the  400 year old former farm house,

There is a large livingroom with leather sofa and 2 leather armchairs, a kitchenette ( with 3 ring electric cooker and a fridge with small freezer compartment) and a dining area, where an antique table is against an old (more than 60 cm thick!) wall dating back to 1631! The bathroom has a toilet, shower and washbasin. In the bedroom 2 single beds, side by side are beneath massive 17 th century old beams!

Outside, near the gîte are  many  sheltered areas , small gardens where you can sit private and relax . Or, if you choose, where you can enjoy the company of others. ( Ofcourse  with garden chairs. )

A very charming 4 person family Gîte(apartment). The Kitchenette has 2 electric rings, an extractor hood, a microwave with grill and a fridge (with small freezer compartment). The cosy living room with a tiled floor comprises a dining and sitting area with a  sofa and 2 armchairs.

Authentic details have been preserved such as the exposed traditional thick stone walls (60 cm!!) 

The gite has a balcony.

A 2 person  studio, full of character on the ground floor which is not only ideal for those who have difficulty with climbing stairs, but which is also ideal for overnight stays!  It has 1 combined bed/livingroom ( 1 double bed), kitchenette (with table top electric oven with 2 rings, a small fridge and a sink, all low level). A wetroom with shower, raised toilet and wash basin.
