There are
plenty of museums and historic places of interest to visit as
well as activities to do. Look for ideas or more details on our
pages "activities" and
"surroundings".
Needless
to say, people choosing accommodation in our Gîtes have full
access to all the facilities offered by our complex:

the swimming pool,
the volleyball
court, the table tennis table, the jeux de boules court
and of course the possibility to eat with us
( meals only with pre-reservation)etc . More details on our page: "facilities".
It is advisable
to make reservations in high season to avoid disappointments. But you
are, of course always welcome, if we have place. |

Dogs
(and other pets) are more than welcome provided
that they have had all necessary vaccinations and are treated
for fleas. Please contact us in advance.
Outside the campsite, close by
there are places where you can walk with them or let them run
and swim. On our complex however, they must be kept on a lead
|

Strictly NO
smoking in the Gîtes or elsewhere inside the buildings
If your
requirement isn't mentioned, please ask u. We are here to help
make your break as relaxing as possible!

"La Marchadaine"
You find
on the ground floor (total floor area 20 m²)a large
bedroom with a double bed (with 2 mattresses of 90x200m) and
bunk beds(90x190) in an alcove. Under the window you will
find a very old granite stone kitchen sink. Also on the
ground floor:
a large bathroom with a shower-cabinet, toilet and
wash basin.

Our
4-person Gîte / characterful cottage (2 bedrooms) adds an extra
dimension for a holiday to remember!
(There is a
possibility to stay with 5 or 6 persons in this gite).
Gîte La Marchadaine is located in a separate 400 year old
house. It has been carefully restored with all modern facilities,
but has lost nothing of its charm and character.
There is a wealth of beams, and exposed granite (more than 60 cm
thick!) stone walls. |

The second floor (surface 31 m²)
has a laminate flooring, a kitchen which includes a gas cooker
with 4 rings, an extractor hood, a fridge and a freezer),
Cupboards fully equipped. Everything for a comfortable stay. A
dining area with 6 chairs and a living area with 2 sofas and an
armchair. Wood burning stove for colder evenings. In the attic
(surface under the low beams 31 m²) you find the second bedroom
with 2 single-beds (90x190, the beds have no foot ends) |

La Tardoire
A charming 6
persons gîte /cottage with 3 large bedrooms, one on the
groundfloor.
This
gîte is also accessible for people who have difficulties
with walking or who need to use a wheelchair. All doors
are enlarged (passageways of 78 cm) and there are no
thresholds and doorsteps on the groundfloor.
Many authentique details have been
preserved such as the immense beams, the ceilings and
the thick (60 cm!) granite walls. The gîte has of course
all today's comfort |
Two formerly
400 years old farm cottages are combined and have been well
restored into a spacious, comfortable gîte. |

The large private garden has its
own garden furniture.

On the ground floor you will find a
fully equipped kitchen.(freezer, fridge, gas cooker with
4 rings plus oven, extractor hood, coffeemachine and
waterkettle.
) Fully equipped cupboards. Everything
for a comfortable stay! You have direct access to the
south/East terrace, so that you can enjoy your breakfast
in the morning sun.
From the french
windows in the living room you enter the second terrace
on the West side. That means: you can sit the whole day
in the sun if you wish. But you can also seek the shade
under the apple tree.
In the living room a large dining table,
and a leather lounge suit a are present. A
woodburner is placed in the old chimney breast. If
you want to come in lowseason: we will have the chopped
wood ready for you to use. |

The well planned bathroom has a large shower
-cabinet, a raised toilet (50 cm high and with grips on the
wall) and ceramic wash basin. And there is also a walk in "wet
room" arrea with a second shower.extras shower for someone who
is handicapped.
The bedroom downstairs has 2 single beds.(height:
of 50cm and mattresses of 90 x 200m). A beautiful detail is the
old chimney break with a purely decorative woodburner.

The first floor was used
in early days to dry tabacco leaves. Now there are 2 large
bedrooms (each 25m2) and a spacious landing. Each bedroom has 2
single beds (90x190m / the beds have no foot ends) ,
underneath the authentique elm- and horse chestnut timbered roof
boarding. (well insulated!)

This

A very charming 2 persons
Gîte( apartment) on the second floor, created in the main
part of the 400 year old former farm house.
There is a large livingroom with
leather sofa and 2 leather armchairs, a kitchenette ( with
3 ring electric cooker and a fridge
with small freezer compartment) and a dining area, where an
antique table is against an old (more than 60 cm thick!)
wall dating back to 1631! The bathroom has a toilet, a shower-cabinet and
washbasin. In the bedroom 2 single beds (90 x 200/ the beds have
no foot ends), side by side are
beneath massive 17 th century old beams!
