We pay
a lot of care and attention to ensuring that the information on En Campagnes'
website is accurate. We can however not be held responsible for any
inaccuracies, misunderstandings and/or for information that was changed at a
later date. This includes any possible typing errors. Whilst prices liable to
change, all prices stated on the confirmation/invoice are binding.
Conditions
The
general conditions apply to all offers, reservations and agreements made via En
Campagne website. Below you will find a complete overview of these conditions.
En Campagne reserves the right to change the conditions contained on the
website.
Copyright

Campagnes' website is exclusively available for personal and not commercial use.
This means that any other usage of the site is prohibited, unless written
consent has been acquired from En Campagne.
Third
party websites
En Campagnes' website
contains links to websites of third parties. En Campagne may not be held
accountable for the content or the use of such internet sites, or for any
possible repercussions of visitations to such sites.
General Conditions Campsite and accommodation rentals.

1.
Reservation
-
After receipt of your application for reservation (by e-mail, post
or telephone) you will receive after a few days our acknowledge of
receipt from us by e-mail or post. This acknowledgement/agreement is
also the invoice.
- In this letter, we will give you all payment details.
- After we have received the deposit the reservation is confirmed.

It is understood that
you automatically accept the general conditions and all confirmation
details of the reservation/agreement when you make the booking and
payment for your holiday.
2.
Arrival and departure:
2.a. Accommodation
- The accommodation is available for you as from 15.00 hours and
before 22.00 hours on your arrival day. The Gîtes must be vacated
before 10.00 hours at the end of your stay.

If you arrive later or you depart earlier, for whatever reason,
there will be no refund.
- If there are fewer people finally in the gîte than reserved, there
will be no reduction in the rental.
- - If you don’t notify us of any delay, we will keep your
accommodation available for you until the day after your planned
arrival up till 12.00 h. After this time your reservation is no
longer valid.
2.b Campsite:
- The campsite pitch is
available for you as from 13.00 hours and before 22.00 hours on your
arrival day. You will have to leave the campsite on your departure
day before
12.00 hours.
- If you arrive at a later date, you will be billed for the length
of the original booking, unless you give us 7 days notice in
advance.
- In case of delays we will keep your campsite pitch available for
you until the day after your planned arrival up till 12.00 h. After
this time your reservation is no longer valid.
- Should you leave earlier than planned , you will only be charged
for actual occupancy.
3.
Payment
3.a. Accommodation:
The deposit for each reservation is 30% of the total amount of the
invoice and has to be in our possession within 14 days after you
receive the invoice. Reservations cannot be held longer without the
deposit paid.
- The balance of the invoice must be paid not later than 8 weeks
before the start of the rental period.
- In case of reservations within 8 weeks before the start of the
rental period the total amount has to be paid immediately after
receipt of the invoice. The total amount has to be paid before the
Gîte can be occupied.
3.b.campsite:
The deposit for each reservation is 30% of the total amount of the
invoice and has to be in our possession within 14 days after receipt
of the invoice (Reservations cannot be held longer without the
deposit paid.)
- The balance of the invoice may be paid in advance, but you may
also pay this on arrival in cash. (Unfortunately we cannot accept
bank or credit cars on our complex).
4. Deposit and damage
4.a Accommodation:
On arrival we ask you to pay in cash a damage deposit for the
accommodations. The deposit will be repaid at the day of your
departure, less any necessary
deductions.
4.b Campsite:

Cancellation
Any cancellation
must be done in writing and has to be signed by the person who has
signed the reservation form.
5.a Accommodation:
When a cancellation takes place more than 8 weeks before the start
of the rental period, you will be liable to pay 15 % of the total
amount of the invoice.
- When cancellation takes place 8 to 4 weeks before the start of the
rental period, you will be liable to pay 50% of the total amount of
the invoice.
- When the cancellation takes place 4 weeks or less before the start
of the rental period, you will be liable to pay 100% of the total
amount of the invoice.
5.b. Campsite:
:
When a cancellation takes place more than 8 weeks before the start
of the rental period, you will not be obliged to pay anything on the
invoice. We will only charge you € 10,00 administration charges.
- When cancellation takes place 8 to 4 weeks before the start of the
rental period, you will be liable to pay 15% of the total amount of
the invoice.
- When the cancellation takes place 4 weeks or less before the start
of the rental period, you will be liable to pay 30% of the total
amount of the invoice
6. Cleaning
6.a.Accommodation
We ask you to take care of the property as if it were your own
home. If the property is not left in the condition in which it was
found,
we will charge you for cleaning. In any event, we would ask you to
leave the accommodation clean and tidy (as noted inside the
accommodation).
6.b.Campsite:
We ask you to look after your campsite pitch and leave it
tidy.(particularly removing from it all tent pegs).We have special
receptacles for the emptying of camping-toilets (biodegradable
products only! No chemical products are allowed!).
7.
Linen
Bed linen is to rent.
If you bring your own bed linen , you will need a duvet cover,
fitted sheet and a pillow slip.
A towel set can be rented also..
8. Tourist tax
The council for the
Communauté du Confolentais voted for the introduction of a Tourist
Tax from 2007 onwards. We are obliged to bill you with this tax, the
amount of which is posted in the information room.
9.
Domestic animals
Domestic animals are allowed by prior agreement (vaccinated, treated
for fleas). On the complex they must be kept on the lead. Please
make sure to bring your animal's bench/dogbasket/dogcarpet with you
if it comes into one of our accommodations. Animals are not allowed
to lie on our bed or our couch..
10.
Maximum number of persons
10.a Campsite:
Only 1 family (parents with children) on a
campsite pitch.
Exceptions only after agreement.
b. Accommodation:
The maximum number of persons of the reservation may not be
exceeded, unless explicitly agreed with us. This may however
involve extra costs.
11.
Energy and water:
We ask you to be energy and water conscious.
10.a. Accommodation:
All prices include hot water and electricity. Electricity for
heating purposes will be charged extra. As is wood for the wood
fire.
11.b. Campsite:
The price of water and electricity is in the day-tariff. Electricity
for heating purposes will be charged separately.
In order
not to disturb neighbours we don't want you to use air-conditioning.
12. Meals
Breakfast and evening
meals are available, only for our guests on the complex, by prior reservation. (please check the
possibility in advance)
13.Claims

You are obliged to
have a (civil) liability insurance and a travel insurance. . We very
strongly ask you to take out a cancellation insurance. It is your
responsibility to ensure that your own car, tent, caravan and
sundry equipment are properly insured.
- The
perpetrator of any damage done to the grounds, plantings, fencing,
the complex or the amenities of the complex (campsite or
accommodations) will be held liable and billed accordingly for the
full amount.
- During your
stay you are responsible for the rented accommodation /campsite
pitch, the contents and all other goods belonging to it.
We ask you to maintain
these in the same condition as you found them. Damage, fire, missing
items or destruction of the accommodation or of any of the
inventory, will be charged to you at cost price. We ask your
co-operation so that replacements or repairs may be made promptly
and cause as little disruption as possible to new arrivals.
- During
your stay, you are responsible for your children and your animals,
if any. You are civilly and criminally liable. Any damage or
pollution done by your children or domestic animals will be for your
account.
- Not
withstanding the extremely meticulous construction of the Gîtes or
other places of Camping & Gîtes "en Campagne, we cannot accept
responsibility for inconveniences due to unforeseen circumstances
through no fault of ours and/or unbeknown to us. We cannot accept
responsibility for any
mistakes on our internet site, on
the brochures and on our price lists, which have been compiled in
good faith. We have made every effort to ensure the accuracy of the
property description. All information is given in good faith and
believed correct.
- We decline all responsibility for
any accidents in the swimming pool but also on the complex of
"camping and gîtes en Campagne"as a whole.
The use of the swimming pool,
games, children's playground, outdoor and indoor equipment, bunk
beds and bicycles is entirely at your own risk.
- We will make
every effort to satisfy your pitch requirements with regard to light
and shade etc. If the campsite pitch is on arrival not satisfactory,
we will do all our best to find a solution, but there will be no
refund.
- We cannot accept any claims or responsibility for
loss, damages (also:
the
deterioration of caravans, awnings or tents),
theft or inconveniences, in whatever form,
whatever the cause.
and originating from whatever cause,
that you or other guests in your accommodation or on your campsite
pitch, or in any other of the buildings of the complex may incur.
14.Privacy statement:
Only the information
(name and address) which you have voluntarily provided on behalf of
your reservation are collected and temporarily stored by us. We do
not sell, lend, lease or hire our client lists, or any information
related to these lists, to third parties.
15. General Rules
We draw your
attention to the general rules (reglement d'intérieur) of Camping &
Gîtes "en Campagne". All persons on the complex must respect these
rules. These rules and
regulations are displayed at the entrance to the complex and/or at
the information room. Copies are available at client's request.
16.
Applicable Laws and Disputes
For this agreement is governed by French law.
This document is a
translation of the original French Conditions Générale and is
provided for information purposes only. In the event of any
discrepancy between this version and the original, only the French
version shall be considered valid.
